UWSP is preparing an online-accessible 3D model of our Vision for a Sustainable Campus. The model will be based on our targets for a sustainable UW campus developed with the aid of existing campus sustainability ranking programs. The Campus Vision was initiated in the Fall of 2009 and considers campus buildings and other aspects (sidewalks, road crossing, composting program, etc.). The Campus Vision details what we feel would constitute a sustainable campus. Upon completion of this project, we will use this as a guideline when faced with the development of any policies for future construction and design of buildings on campus.

This special committee is seeking volunteers interested in compiling or contributing information to the project. If you have completed coursework that references the school campus itself, you may send it to us for review. We would love to have contributions from other UW students.

The director positions are open. We are looking for an experienced volunteer to develop and coordinate the event from start to finish with a team of dedicated volunteers (which we will help you recruit). The director(s) will coordinate with all UWSP working groups to work on this ambitious project. This will include recruiting volunteers for your committee, holding meetings throughout the week, researching best practices and coordinating with working groups
