The University of Waterloo Sustainability Project (UWSP) strives to increase environmental awareness, leadership, and the involvement of students in the community, thus aiming to broaden the environmental network of UW students, faculty, and administration.

The Natural Landscaping Team is a group of dedicated student volunteers advocating sustainability by engaging in naturalization projects on campus and raising awareness through community education.

Why naturalize?

To preserve our ecological heritage
To protect native flora and fauna biodiversity
To promote the therapeutic potential of green spaces
To reduce maintenance costs, water consumption, chemical pest controls, erosion, and greenhouse gases
