Better Practices works to brainstorm, research, and implement newer, better, greener, and more sustainable practices at UW.  We want to stimulate discussion, debate, and action regarding sustainability and our goal is to help our students take part in the sustainability movement.  We’re a completely new group and member of UWSP!  As such, there’s opportunity for students to express their ideas and help jumpstart this group this term.  If you want to help make UW greener and/or have many ideas on how to do so, Better Practices is the group for you!  

Previously, UWSP held two “Better Practices” Events:

• Better Practices MONTHLY DISCUSSION on “Water Issues in Canada”
• Better Practices MONTHLY DISCUSSION on “Carbon Offsetting”

Some of the projects that we’re hoping to work on this term include:

• Greening ORIENTATION
• Greening FEDS
• More MONTHLY DISCUSSIONS and debates
• Other projects based on the INTERESTS of GROUP MEMBERS
